Rural Education

Rural Education and Mission Project

This is a one-month free summer learning program for children in rural areas. This initiative provides remedial and foundational education using TaRL methods, alongside activities that promote well-being, nutrition, hygiene, and spiritual growth. At the end of the program, each child receives educational materials to support continued learning.

Long-term Plan

While this project began in Ufodo, its impact is not limited to one community.

Our long-term vision is to:

  • Expand to other rural communities that are ready to participate, support the work, and sustain the program.
  • Continue the Ufodo project when grant funding is available or when the community demonstrates strong commitment.
  • Establish learning hubs in new villages where children can receive consistent, high-quality reading and numeracy instruction.
  • Scale the TaRL approach to ensure that more children across Nigeria gain the foundational skills they need for lifelong learning.

Our goal is simple: to bring literacy, numeracy, and hope to every community that welcomes us.
