Yinmi Gabriel Oladeji

Yinmi, who grew up in a village in Ondo State, Nigeria, received his basic and high school education there. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Yinmi is passionate about advancing Planetary Health in West Africa, collaborating with colleagues at the Planetary Health Alliance West African Hub. As an aspiring Public Health Professional and Academician, he currently serves as a Graduate Tutor in a high school in Northern Nigeria under the National Youth Service Corps Scheme.

Yinmi’s teaching expertise spans various levels, including Science, Technology, Education, and Mathematics courses. A notable achievement is his attendance at an international conference on Planetary Health at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, while still an undergraduate in 2022. Within the Precious Fountain Foundation (PFF), he contributes to the Research team and has special interests in Apologetics, Infectious Disease epidemiology, Public health, and Planetary Health.

Despite financial constraints, Yinmi has honed his project management skills. He actively participates in PFF initiatives such as “PPF goes to School” and the “Mindshift project,” where he serves as the project manager for “Mindshift.” His favorite quote—“Not slothful in business, fervent in the spirit, and doing the Lord’s work fervently”—guides his endeavors. Yinmi draws inspiration from those who achieve remarkable feats against all odds, especially those who remind him that mediocrity is the true adversary. Myles Munroe and Apostle Joshua Selman stand out as his great inspirers.
